Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model actor author designer and animal rights activist. She is renowned for her movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). Growing up in a family of artists living in New York she wished to work in the field of arts. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, before progressing to acting and modeling. The first two films she appeared in, she was recognized and was awarded her the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw became a global star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. In just three years, she was named the most popular female box-office participant in the entire world. Her footprints from 1972 along with her signature were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw is married three times.
