Rachelle Lefevre
Rachelle Lefevre was born in Canada. Lefevre was a waitress at tables in the early days, was found by the son of a Canadian filmmaker, and he helped her land the first part in the acting world as a actress. The actress later relocated into Los Angeles where she earned the opportunity to play a regular role for the movie What About Brian (2006). The actress' acting talents were discovered by a customer from Montreal while she was working as a teenager at the restaurant. The show's frequent guest put her into contact with an agent for casting. That eventually lead to being cast in an upcoming Canadian sitcom. Her appearance was in a number of scenes of the David E. Kelley's Boston Legal (2004). That led her to a starring part in the 2008 U.S. adaptation of the BBC popular Life on Mars. The family of her father was French and Lefevre was raised as a child speaking predominantly English; she eventually moved into Los Angeles in 2004 due because of the absence of English-speaking parts in Montreal. She landed her most prominent film role up to this point in Catherine Hardwicke's adaptation Stephenie Meyer's Twilight, the first in an acclaimed series of teenage books about vampires.
