Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress well known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s she began her career as an actress on stage with Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In the 1950s she performed as a stage artist in several Broadway shows before gaining her way into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner's performance in the year 1957. That same year, she released Her first album, It's time for Tina. Louise was first seen on the screen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre which was a dramatic that was released in the year 1958. She was Griselda who was a character from the movie. In the years prior to this she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. Her next role that she played was Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up with in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career with ease in between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters opposed to her image as being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she also became a well-known director of popular television series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birth date was 28 August 1965 in Essex. At the age of 3, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of her childhood. When she was chosen to play the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and was there ever since.
