Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is a retired American alpine skiing champion who took home gold in the downhill event at the Winter Olympics in 2010. She has the second highest overall score of all skiers, male and female. She's the most famous and one of America's best-loved skiers. Caroline Vonn, a World Cup winning alpine skier from the United States with the nickname Lindsey Vonn represents the US Ski Team. She has 4 overall World Cup victories. The athlete who has made a name for herself in American popular culture. She is one of only six women who have triumphed in all five skiing alpine World Cup events. She's won the title of 82 World Cup victories in total. One of the finest skiers in the world and the most popular American ski racer have planned to retire after the World Championship which will take place in Sweden. The four-time World Cup winner decided to retire after battling a variety of diseases. Her retirement was announced through social media. In the coming week, I'll compete in my final races in my professional career at the Downhill World Championships, as also at the SG World Championships held in Re Sweden.
